Alice in Plagiarismland, February 20, 2010
This review is from: Alice in Zombieland: Lewis Carroll's 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' with Undead Madness (Paperback)
If you've already read the original 'Alice in Wonderland,' you are already 90% done with 'Alice in Zombieland.' In fact, Cook changed very few elements of the story--he didn't add to the story--he merely threw Lewis Carroll's masterpiece into a text editor and changed the names of the characters and added new description details.
I mean, you, the simple reader could do the same as Cook with limited thought. Go to project [...], search 'Alice in Wonderland,' load it onto your computer, copy the words into your word processor, now, search the name of a character and insert the new menacing name. Don't worry if you miss a few entries. Cook doesn't. His book is riddled with mistakes, such as Mock Turtle who becomes Corpse Turtle, and then mistakenly becomes Mock Turtle again--one small example.
If you are a Seth Grahame-Smith fan, avoid 'Alice in Zombieland.' Seth G. revamped 'Pride and Prejudice' with new scenes, he didn't just rename characters and food ("tarts" become "meat pies"). And Cook, if you read this, I want my money back. Oh, my toddler is now rewriting Charles Dickens 'A Christmas Carol' using your technique. So far, we've surpassed you in character renaming and minor description changes.

Awful, January 29, 2011
This review is from: Alice in Zombieland: Lewis Carroll's 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' with Undead Madness (Paperback)
This book is terrible. If you've read the original there really is no point. It seems like the writer decided to cash in on a fad and this is the result. What a waste of time.

Don't waste your money, November 27, 2010
This review is from: Alice in Zombieland: Lewis Carroll's 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' with Undead Madness (Paperback)
This book is totally bootleg. If you are expecting something similar to Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, DON'T BUY THIS. The illustrations are terrible as is the story. I couldn't even finish it.
