Book Description

If you like Fifty Shades of Grey and Lisa Marie Rice, you'll love Alice's Wonderland

When journalist and notorious womanizer Flynn O'Grady publicly mocks Alice Mitchell's erotic luxury goods website, the game is on. Determined to change his mind about sex toys and the people who use them, Alice decides to wrap her high-end silken blindfold over his eyes and teach him a thing or two. They soon find themselves locked in a game where Alice must step up the spice night after night as, one by one, Flynn's defenses crumble. To win, she must prove to Flynn that changing the routine, rather than the partner, can be the greatest adventure of all.

4.0 out of 5 stars 50 Shades ... but with an actual plot! November 18, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
If you read any of the 50 Shades books and managed to enjoy them, then you will love Alice's Wonderland.

If you read any of the 50 Shades books and barely managed to get through because the writing made your eyes bleed and you thought the sex scenes were a bit meh ... then you will love Alice's Wonderland.

It has a plot, it has character development and of course, it gets hot and heavy ... but in a much more tantalising way. I read this in two sittings and it was responsible for one very late night. It's also restored my faith in erotic fiction.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well written, good plot and scintillating too. November 8, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I read this book over two nights and really enjoyed it. It's a breath of fresh air to read such well written erotica, the authors' writing experience shines through. It's steamy too, but with a lightness of touch that I appreciated. But the best bit is the unique 'vintage' flavour, very enjoyable.

Well done ladies, and please can we have some more!??

5.0 out of 5 stars Lust and love... December 12, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I lust after a bit of erotica, but I also desire a well written and engaging stle to maintain my interest. I fell in lust with the main male character and adored Alice. Sexy, real, hot. This book is an easy quick read....that lead to more than a quickie. Cheeky, stylish and hugely entertaining. More please...to get a bit of good teasing erotica mixed with a plot that resonates so clearly is a delight.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting story, but very adult. March 25, 2015
Format:Kindle Edition
I am going to be completely honest. I requested this book to review completely based on the cover art and the fact that it completely grabbed my attention above all of the other books out there!

I generally am not a huge fan of anything that even borders on erotica, and there was a great deal of adult content in this novel, so I was really nervous about reading it and what I would say about it once I was finished with it.

And yet here I am, my opinion changed a bit. The Fifty Shades series was something that was not able to hold my attention, but Alice's has corrected that quite nicely.

I was intrigued by the premise in this book and enjoyed the aspects of role play and the premise of the story.

Alice sets out to change the opinion of a man who says what she does is distasteful and wrong. Little did she know that she would change as well in the process.

I really enjoyed the story and was pleasantly surprised at the level of emotion the book brought out in me as well. We have all met a man like Flynn O'Grady at one point or another. We have all had the man who was seemingly out of reach or out of our league and we had to change their opinion on who and what we were if we wanted to get their attention.

In short, Alice's Wonderland will speak to every woman and every man on one level or another and if you enjoy this kind of book, you definitely want to read this one!

**DISCLAIMER** I received this book from the publisher through Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review. I was compensated in no way for this review.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fun, light and sexy. January 11, 2013
Format:Mass Market Paperback
Fun, light and sexy.

A relatively short romance between a womanizer who was scalded by a love story that has strongly influenced and traumatized his love life and a pin-up waiting for true love.
So to escape suffering, he does not invest himself in relationship and think sex toys users are for couples who should think to separate rather than trying to rekindle a flame with toys and costumes by using a Espelette pepper (a chili pepper that is cultivated in the South of France).

Alice is a sensual pin-up who wants to teach a lesson to this splendid know-it-all journalist. But she too, under her costumes and playfull sensuality, she hides a fear of loving and being hurt...

Both protagonist play their game until real emotions emerge. In love, you must let enter the other in and take the risk of being hurt.
Our two heroes will find it out through a lot of misunderstanding and soul-searching in a gentle way and naughty through a novel worth reading.

Nothing fancy but a romance perfect to swallow during a train ride or to relax with a glass of wine in the bath.

Sentences:
From Flynn O'Grady: "Here's the thought: if you're bored with the routine, change the partner. Works for me. Every Time."

From Alice: "He looked like a man who changed his sexyal partner as often as his underwear."
