The authors present the result of their research into alien abductions, together with case studies. They examine the neurological and psychological mechanisms sometimes cited as responsible for the experience, and tackle the criticism of hypnotism for memory retreival.
Peter Hough was born in Nottinghamshire, UK, and is married with two daughters.
He began investigating and researching cases of unexplained phenomena when he was in his twenties. Much of the results of his work have appeared in 18 non-fiction books and several hundred magazine and newspaper features. His books have sold world rights and have been translated into 14 languages. He has lectured widely and taken part in many radio programmes. He has also appeared in TV documentaries in the UK, USA and Japan.
He has a B.SC (Hons) in Psychology, and his study with Dr Paul Rogers of individuals who have experienced so-called alien abductions, appeared in the peer-reviewed journal 'Imagination, Cognition & Personality'.
Peter has put his background to good use in his novel: 'Stench of Evil', a supernatural detective thriller. Its sequel: 'The Devil Inside' is a work in progress.
