The book contains many, many old sightings which I had never heard of, so is highly nformative. Heartily recommended to all who wish to gain an unprejudiced look at this fascinating subject. One major disagreement: the author makes the assumption that any advanced alien culture would have just as much rapid change as we have. I believe this would indicate the beings to be from Earth. If an alien technology were 1,000 years ahead of us, would they have our half-yearly change in auto design, or would their autos (and space ships) have reached fruition, and be more static? MUST MUST read this book!

Probably the best introduction to alien abductions you'll ever find, and a great resource for anyone seeking information on the history and variety of them. From the earliest encounters with mysterious beings that would later be dubbed aliens to the later cases, from the most hyped to the obscure that you probably won't here about anywhere else, this is also the most complete book on alien abduction that you'll ever find. And finally it allows you to make your own conclusions.

I was deeply impressed by Randles' work. The book gives detailed abduction cases and alien contacts, and after reading them I believed in extra-terrestrials. Not only that, but Randles gives a description of the entites people claimed to have seen. The book made me wonder about the things that lie beyond the sky. I was also delighted to see that Randles offered several reasons of why the aliens have landed, and the conclusions simply stirred me. If you just happen to stumble upon this golden treasure of alien myth in the bookstore down the street, I would highly recommend you take your time and read more about otherworldly spacecraft. Jenny Randles' expertise has certainly sparked my interest, and there's a pretty big chance she'll spark yours, too.
