From the first few frames I was intruiged. As the movie continued, I was hooked. This has to be one of my favorite anime series ever. If you like big vacuum tube run mecha fighting against improbable Nazi Super Science, then this is for you. Character developement is generally okay. Obviously it is strongest for our hero, but the supporting characters, particularly the pilots of the Kishin Corps, are well done. The story telling doesn't bog you down with massive exposition, instead it illuminates through snippets and rewards attention.

This is one of the best anime I have ever seen. Its great art work and story telling is enough to make anybody want to watch it again and again. however I would recommend this title more for the giant robot anime fan or for people who like games and tv shows such as mechwarriors or robotech or movies like godzilla but do not let that stop you from buying this great anime title. there are giant robot battle's and lots of action.

If you want to view a fun, self-contained series this is the one to buy. Watching the adventures of Taishi and the Kishin Corps was quite a surprise. Don't let it's retro look and feel fool you it's a true gem. Add it to your Anime Collection today.

This has to be one of the best anime DVD's I have ever seen. The reviews I have read that say how crappy this is must be written by people who don't like robot anime, in which case why are you writing a review for a robot anime DVD? Just because you watched it and didn't like it doesn't mean it's not worth FIVE STARS, because it is. The animation is excellent, good picture quality, and the storyline is one of the most interesting and original I've seen yet. I mean, c'mon Nazis teaming up with aliens fighting a force of giant robots? What's more original than that? At least it's not more of the same space odyssey type stuff that most anime with robots has. Not that space robots is a bad thing, I love it, but GEO ARMOR definitely will have a spot right next to my GUNDAM DVD's.

This series reminds me a lot of giant Robo; the same anime style, the same type of sweeping, grand storyline. The plot, which takes place in an alternate Earth during World War II, follows the plight of a young boy separated from his scientist father, who is pursued by both a secret organization and murderous aliens! The very entertaining story involves some really good battle scenes involving trains, submarines and airplanes that transform into giant robots. All seven episodes are contained within this DVD collection, which is good because you won't have to hunt down all seven episodes separately. Enjoy.

Ok the story goes something like this. Back in WWII aliens have started to invade but there is a group of japanese special forces that use giant robots to help defeat them. These robots have these "core devices" ,which are alien technology, that are required to operate them. There is no explanation what they are other than that, oh and every once in a while they resonate attracting the aliens that drop out of the sky carrying submachine guns?? Anyway it's up to the Kishin Corps to save the day and stop them and prevent the Nazi's ,teamed up with japanese army, from getting the core devices too.
I really am not a fan of "alterate past" stories, but the plot is too corny. The animation isn't that great(not bad either)and somethings just aren't explained like the reason the aliens are there and why do they only want the unused cores?
I did kinda like when the robots started up and fought the aliens but overall this show just wasnt' that good.
