SPV Records has done it again. Compilation after compilation have proven to be awesome across the board. Too bad not many have heard about them.This album has everything you need to be introduced to psychedelic trance. With names well known in the scene like "earth", "C.O.N Sequencer", "Cydonia", and "Akanoid", you'll be impressed at what this obscure genre has to offer. I highly reccommend this compilation to anyone curious about what goa and psytrance have to offer. A must-have for DJ's!!!

Though I found this cd in a remainder bin, if I had knownwhat it was I would have paid full price. Disk 1 is awesome: my absolute favorite psy-trance song is #6, Haldolium's "Nega-tif." Close behind is Is Shiva Chandra (#9) with "Microphone.' Two albums for the price of one, and you get a "who's who" of Goa/psy-trance, all with strong work. That's five stars, anyway you see it. buy it. |
