Product Description

Alien Flier is made with a light weight anodized aluminum chassis. The integrated handle keeps the rider facing forward, eliminating twist and spin throughout the entire ride. With our AFT you can custom build your own backyard zip line with our available seat styles, parts and accessories. Alien Flier's exclusive patent-pending brake system makes our trolley one of the safest around. Simply pull the white trigger above the handle down to initiate the brake and slow down your ride or ease to a stop. In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint, our latest instruction manual is always available to download from our website, no discs or papers to keep track of!

This little trolley is light weight and works great for kids and adults. We use it on 1/4" cable that is 40 meters long. Came complete including the handles that others reported as missing.

When I first put up the zip line the kids loved if but their arms tired quickly. I ended up putting a round seat on this for my 120 foot zip-line and then the kids wouldn't get off it. Only had it a couple months but so-far so-good.

Well built, and if needed you can disassemble it to put on an existing zip-line.

We put a zipline up for our daughter's 12th birthday. Her and several of her friends rode it and we have used several times since then. The ride was very smooth and they all enjoyed it. We have only had it a few weeks so I don't know how well it will hold up over time but it seems to be well built and sturdy.

Another reviewer experienced what I did - Amazon simply didn't ship everything as described ... I received only the bare trolley, in a plastic bag that was stapled shut, coupled with nothing more than a paper advertisement. I contacted AF, who responded within hours - they apologized and shipped the missing parts directly to me VERY QUICKLY. I am now good-to-go and the kids are downright giddy ... :)

We haven't put our zip line together yet, but this AF Zip Line Trolley is awesome! It is wonderfully engineered and built to be fast and to last for a long time. I'd buy it again.

This might be good for short ziplines used by adults, but it is not great for smaller children.
Let me describe my setting so you know why this is not a good harness for me:
We have a 120' zipline on a 3/16 7x7 cable in the backyard, which is at most 10ft from the ground (the cable itself), and my kids are 2.5 and 4.5 yo.
They both use full-body climbing harnesses

The pros:
- A somewhat flimsy break (useless for us), which is more than pulleys/trolleys have
- A reasonably comfortable handle (useless for us)

The cons:
- You cannot remove it from the cable without disassembling it almost entirely
- The carabiner does NOT go over the cable, so you have to rely completely on the trolley itself (look at the petzl trac pulley and the CMI Micro Trolley)
- Still on the safety side, there is no metal going above the cable, so if the sheaves fail, there is nothing holding you up
- You can fit only one carabiner on it, so it is hard to attach the seat and the harness.

Bottom line, I am definitely going with the
