5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best books I've ever read is "Alien Game"., October 2, 1997

This review is from: Alien Game (Library Binding)
Alien Game is a really good book. I highly recommend it to you. The main characters in it are Christina Blake, a new girl at school who is actually an alien; Linda, the girl who finds out Christine is an alien; Norton, Linda's boy-friend who is the only one who believes Linda; Amy, Linda's Friend; Rachel, Linda's friend; and the Duckies, a popular group at school. The story starts when the school starts playing a game called Elimination. Elimination is a game where you get a card with a person's name on it. You try to tag that person and not get tagged by the person who has your card. If you tag someone you get the card he or she has. Once you get tagged you cannot play anymore. If you hook onto people and make a threesome you can not get tagged. The winner of the game is the person who gets every card. However, the school just plays until the end of the week. Just before the school starts playing the game, a new girl comes in. Linda feels like she knows the girl. The girl looks exactly like a girl in the magazine she got. The girl's name is Christine Blake. The school starts playing Elimination. Then, a strange thing starts happening. Whoever gets tagged by Christine goes into a trance and then will do anything for her. Then something even more strange happens. Linda sees Christine disintegrate and then go back to normal. Norton is the only one who believes her. In the end Christine tells Linda that she is a master player. A master player is a person who wins a lot of games and can change shape. Christine gives Linda a chance to win and become a master player but Linda says no and gets tagged. Linda expects to get pulled into a trance, but nothing happens. Then Linda and Christine see that her card is not the one she wrote. Therefore Linda tags Christine but Linda does not become a master player because she does not have her own card. Then a teacher who had witnessed it all tags Linda and becomes a master player. I think the author wrote this book because she was interested in Aliens and liked the game Elimination. I think you should read the book Alien Game.
