This game started out on newgrounds.com as a popular flash game with a cute yellow alien being shot down and crash landing right into the FBI headquarters. He's gotta shoot his way through enemies to get his ship back. Weapon of choice is an upgradable lazer gun, but you can also slice enemies in half at close range, ride on their backs and bite their heads off, carry or throw themk, even burrow in the ground for a suprise attack. You can also drive many vehicles now and you get to fly the ufo at vertain points in the game where it is presented in a birds eye view. Do not confuse this game with it's flash counterpart...everything has been completely redone. Not one single thing has been recycled. New 2 player mode and 1-4 player mini PDA games will keep you busy for hours. You can even make your own PDA levels. In the world of 3D gaming, this release is a breath of fresh air: all 2D hand drawn stylized animation that looks great!

That yellow alien might be cute but he is also bloody violent, this game is one of the best i have played in ages, altough people have told me that the graphics are 'childish' who cares? it's not the graphics that matter:/
the game has great music aswel, and everything about it is great really, it's very hard but what's the point in having a game that is too easy?
overall this game gets what it deserves 5 stars!

This game is sort of like the classic contra game which is good because that game was fun,this game is a best buy for you contra lovers.

Sidescrolling short sci-fi shooter game rocks the house. You can probably beat this game in an hour and thirty minutes but I play it over and over on the different difficulties. Ever wonder how in shooter games people take like 10 bullet shots and live? Well in this game, you take one shot and your dead(unless you have a shield)
The makers seem to have something against the FBI to have them in here. 16 levels in all with mini-games for multiplayer or single player. Also includes PDA levels with a PDA level editor. Boss fights can be tough and challenging if you don't know what to do but they're not like games where you do it over and over trying to find a weakness. Some bosses are really simple because they tell you what to do. For example, one boss has a note on his body that says "DO NOT DAMAGE HEAD." 3 worlds that include city,Russia, and Area 51 will have you wanting for more everytime you play it. When I first got it, I couldn't put my hands down.

This is my favorite Gamecube game of all time. It's for both old skool and new skool gamers! It's side scrolling action throughout the whole game.

The sounds and music are so cool and go perfectly with the boss battles and levels. There are many cool things to do in it. Theres 2 player mode, mini games, huge challenging bosses, LOTS of action

It's a bit bloody like if you slice a person they look like ham =) it's funny watching that happen. There are also many things you can do in it such as roll, backflip, jump, jump ON the people, bite their heads off, shoot them, slice them, dig underground, is that it?

And the powerups, WOW! All the gun powerups do completely different things. They can freeze, burn, melt, dissolve, blow up, shoot tons of fast tiny bullets, and they are all VERY bright and colorful and fun to watch.

Anyone who likes both old games and the newer ones should get this game!

I simply cannot wait to get this game Gamespot has given it a 84%, while that might not be excelent, it's still very good.
Let's start with the story. You start as a little green alien who's UFO has crashed..........right on the doorstep of the FBI. Then you must blast through a bunch of 2D Old School levels battling many insane baddies. You can have like 8 or 6 different guns, can burry underground, can roll to dodge enemy fire, can jump on someone and either bite his head off or throw him in many different directions, and can drive cars, UFOs, etc.
If that's not enough, you can also team up with a friend and play CO-OP mode. Or you can team up with 4 players and play mini games.
I'm telling ya, this game is gonna be sweet.

This game is the absolute heat. If you grew up on real jams like Contra and whatnot, you'll have a blast when you fire up this one. I give it 10/10.

for 30 dollars i don't think you'll find a more entertaining game this holiday season. It's multiplayer friendly and a blast to play. Games have taken the step into 3D which has made gaming complex and not accessible without reading a manual. In Alien Hominid, anyone can pick up a controller and play for hours. The game is refreshing and slick and is not held down by the tethers of the 3D world. After playing hours upon hours of RPG's I was in the mood to shoot the hell out of everything, slice people's bodies in half, and bite their heads off. Alien Hominid delivered.

Don't hesistate and buy the game already, you won't regret it I promise.

I was always a huge fan of the online game, so, I couldn't wait until the console version came out, (delayed 6 times where I pre ordered it). When I finally got it, I was amazed!

I love this game... it has a cool little stick figure side game that is tons of fun. Great for kids.
