Book Description

Inarrii agent Alinna Gaerrii was tasked with observing the Starforce base on Earth. Crash landing her observation pod onto the base was not part of her mission briefing. Neither was making m'ittar--mind contact--with Major David Brown, the human who discovered her amongst the wreckage.

David thinks she's a psychologist sent to evaluate his Special Forces team, and Alinna goes along with his misconception, seizing the opportunity to observe humans up close. But their daily contact has unexpected side effects, and Alinna soon invades David's dreams. Through their intimate mental connection she allows him to express his forbidden physical desires.

Alinna delights in the sensory exploration and grows excited by the prospect of a treaty with the humans and a potential life mate in David. But an attack from an unknown ship sends the base into chaos, and Alinna may be forced to reveal her lie, erasing all hope of a successful treaty, and driving David away forever...

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Sexy... June 16, 2010
Format:Kindle Edition
First off where do I sign up for tattoo like nerve endings? Everything about this book was sexy, the cover, the concept and the characters. A quickie read, with an intense story-line, I'm never really gushy fangirl over books leaning towards erotica...but this was a treat.

REVIEW: Alinna Gaerrii is on a routine observation mission of the human Starforce base on Earth. She is a member of the Inarrii race, an enlightened member of the Confederacy and their intent is to welcome the human race into their fold...but only after close investigation to see if they are what they appear. Trustworthy. Her observation ship is knocked off course and crashes to Earth when a human vessel also crashes in the same area. When she is mistaken for the only female on board the human vessel, a psychologist sent to evaluate a Special Forces team on base, Alinna grasps on to this mistaken identity and decides to use it to observe humans more closely.

Alinna doesn't expect Major David Brown, though. All human, all male and seriously suspicious of her. As David and Alinna begin to interact more and more Alinna realizes that there is more to the human race than she first suspected, including the ability to connect with her telepathically, which is a trait she thought only the Inarri possessed. This could mean wonderful things for the two races...and as she delves deeper into David's means wonderful things for her also, including a little bit of inter-species relations (ooh that sounds kinda freaky). What better way to introduce yourself to a new alien race, right?

What can I say, I'm blushing writing this review. A great read, and not just because of the sexy scenes. This book was also well written, very well written for an eBook and an erotica, and the plot was very interesting.

3.0 out of 5 stars Alien Revealed July 27, 2010
Format:Kindle Edition
Alinna is an alien (very human like) that has been sent to scout the earth and decide if they would be good allies for her people. She is instructed to stay out of sight and out of the way. Fate has other plans when her small craft crashed near an Earth space base. She is retrieved by Major David Brown who assumes she is a doctor he has been waiting to show up, but he soon realizes she may not be who he thinks she is.

Whoa Nelly! Talk about a short but very hot romance. The short little book had me blushing like you wouldn't believe. Alinna and David manage to somehow overcome their initial distrust and sparks go flying - perhaps fireworks would be more appropriate. All that aside, the story was cute and entertaining. It ended quite abruptly and seemed almost unfinished though.

5.0 out of 5 stars Alien Revealed- A Joyfully Recommended Title October 4, 2010
By M. Nix
Format:Kindle Edition
When Inarri agent Alinna Gaerrii crash lands her observation pod on Earth while observing Starforce base, it derails her mission. Being discovered by the humans only adds to the failure in her task, until she realizes there's been a mistake in her identity. Now she will get a chance to observe the humans up close, especially with one Major David Brown.

David and his Special Forces team assume Alinna is the psychologist sent to assess them before they head out on a new mission. While not pleased to know Alinna is a psychtech, David can't deny his attraction to her. However, knowing that showing any interest towards her may jeopardize his career, he hides his feelings under a mask of indifference.

Nonetheless, their mutual attraction soon initiates a mind contact, m'ittar. It is through this connection that they first convey their forbidden desires. While Alinna is thrilled by the idea of a treaty between the humans and Confederacy, she's more captivated by David, a possible life mate. Before long, though, a surprise attack and growing suspicions of Alinna may have her revealing secrets that would forfeit any plans of a treaty and any future with David.

Alien Revealed is the first story in a new series by Lilly Cain and it is both scintillatingly sexy as it is thrilling. Ms. Cain wastes no words in this story, creating both a futuristic world we can well imagine and poignant characters we come to love.

The chemistry between David and Alinna starts out a slow simmer and becomes blazing hot. There is a connection between the two even before they start to get physical. Alinna proves her trust in David, as she allows him control in the bedroom, adding a bit of BDSM spice to Alien Revealed.

4.0 out of 5 stars Scorching hot alien romance novella! June 12, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I am still a newbie sci-fi fan but I'm all for stretching my boundaries and discovering new horizons, so when I caught a glimpse of the stunning covers of Lilly Cain's Confederacy Treaty series my curiosity was piqued and I knew I wouldn't mind stretching those boundaries with these stories.

Alien Revealed is the first story in Lilly Cain's exciting new Confederacy Treaty series which is a sci-fi erotic romance series. (Here is your warning those who don't like steamy stories this series is scorching hot, good thing they are not paperbacks or the pages would go up in flames! That's how how these novellas are). The instalments are all novellas of about a 100 pages, and with Lilly Cain's fluent and captivating writing style you'll devour them in no time.

First of all let me tell you about the very exciting and imaginative world Lilly Cain has created: she has opened up space and the limits between humans and Earth and the other species and plantes have shrunk. Technology (even human technology) is so that in mere minutes/hours they can pop over to Jupiter's moon, human astronauts are more like regular airplane pilots, and the Inarii have some much more developed abilities: Alinna can store and consult maps on her retina, she disposes of an internal command unit which she uses to give remote control instructions to computers and her spaceship.

Besides this jump into the technology evolution of the future we discover that other alien species (the Inarii in Alien Revealed) exist and that they are trying to form an alliance and create the Confederacy Treaty to ensure lasting peace and provide protection to each others against the Raveners (the evil murdering and pillaging alien race).
