Best kid's cookbook,
By frankie "frankie" (USA) - See all my reviews

An Alien Robot's Cookbook is the BEST cookbook for kids that we have at home. Both of my sons, especially my 6 year old, enjoy sitting together reading through the recipes and looking at the drawings done by the author's son, Gabriel. We all love the recipe titles such as "Suspicious Smoothies", "Cyclops Salad", and "Supersonic Scones"; I think my children choose which recipe we're going to try based on the titles alone! This cookbook has simple straight forward recipes that are easy for children (and adults) to follow and nutritious as well--what more could one ask for?!

Fun Food!,

My whole family LOVES this cookbook! It sits on our kitchen table and we all take turns reading it and selecting things we'd like to make. I really enjoy Ruth's titles and descriptions of each of the recipes and my 6 year old has been inspired to help out more in the kitchen. So far our favorites are Routine Robocakes from the Pancake Galaxy, Wind-up Sesame Noodles, Powder-Free Macaroni and Hot Honey, the Milky Way. The illustrations, done by Ruth's son, are stellar! A must for anyone who wants to involve their kids more in cooking meals.

Great for kids and parents of kids!!!,
This review is from: An Alien Robot's Cookbook: Recipes From Earth (Paperback)
An Alien Robot's Cookbook is a highly creative and fun entry into the world of cookbooks. The author's writing is engaging, as she approaches the subject of getting her discerning family to eat well. The author was able to take her knowledge of cooking and her considerable writing skills, combine both with her son's illustrations, and the result is a unique, outstanding contribution.
