Light-hearted sci-fi, June 28, 2010

This soundtrack comes across as a lighthearted sci-fi soundtrack. It combines sci-fi/alien invasion themes with goofier elements (particularly for Ricky and the Sheriff characters). I think it works well for the movie and while it's not something I'd listen to on my ipod it will probably be a good soundtrack for kids (before they graduate to the big stuff).
