These are fun poems about being a kid in school, and the authors convey what kids are really thinking --- plus make it all rhyme. I read these to my son as his "extra book" when he can't fall asleep --- and then when I start reading he holds his eyes open so he can keep listening.

Kenn Nesbitt spoke at my daughter's elementary school and after that we were hooked! His subject matter is exactly what grade school kids relate too and it shows them in black and white that poetry can be funny.
