This is an ok game to spend playing on an afternoon with nothing better to do. It has nothing really unique about it but it is cool running around as the Predator. There's a few things I didn't like about it. No jump button? Kinda irritating. Also, the fighting is a basic slish slash two hit combo that is frankly boring to watch after the first few times you see it. The different Pred views, (heat,alien, and mechanical) are completely useless. Plus, one of the big draws of the movie was the PredAlien. Not even hinted at. Doesn't exist in the game. And the whole game has but one boss fight, against a helicopter for that matter. Really, I found myself looking forward to the extremely short game to be over. This game is really only good for people who love Predator and Aliens. But even then, it'll just sit in your PSP case.

This game is great. You play as a predator who can really kick butt, blow up a tank, and be home for dinner. Your main enemies are soldiers, alien warrior, and later you fight predaliens. This game is short but has a lot of replayability. This game is prabably worth 30 bucks but if your a fan like me youll think its worth it. Go slice an alien with your new toy!!

I was very suprised at the good graphical values until I went into the thermal/tech/alien vision modes and they either felt it necessary or accidently put in a constant flicker every 2 3/4 seconds and it annoys me trying to attack much less See what I am doing.
alas the cool targeting reticule from the alien vs pred game on pc from 10 years ago has limited use here and only in shoulder gun mode.
you can customize your pred with all the weapons and pred tech you could want for alien head busting and shooting them in alien vision mode can be quite enjoyable.
after a while you realize it's another 3rd person shooter with goals like "collect info from the predator's mask" and "destroy the cloaked predator ship" and while these are decent missions they are dreadfully short.
overall this game is a stripped down of the pc title alien vs predator with a decent control scheme unfortunately bogged down by a few clunky menu systems.
not perfect by far but still a great handheld shooter where you can Cloak sneak up on your friend and let him/her have a good shoulder cannon blast at max power with several choosable pred body types for multiplayer.

Graphics: a bit dark but simply beautiful in places too 4 stars.

Sound: very good 5 stars

Fun: always a blast killing aliens but the multiplayer is where the real fun can be found here. 4 stars

Overall: 4 stars could have had more multiplayer options and quite a bit more customization and sadly the campaign mode seems a little thin and lacking but overall a fun game to play with a few minor flaws.

When I got my PSP, this was one of the first games I got to go with it. I'm a huge Predator fan and I love all the movies, including everybody's most hated AVPR which is actually one of my favorite out of both franchises. Now what made the movie so awesome was the lone Predator AKA Wolf and now in the game the player gets the chance to be the hunter with dual plasma casters and a bunch of other cool weapons! If you like the movie, you'll like the game and you'll probably like it even if you didn't like the movie as long as you like a good Predator game where you get to kill aliens and humans...
Now if you've read some of the other reviews you might have seen it says there is no Predalien while some say there was, well I'm gonna keep it real with you here and give it to you straight, THERE ARE PREDALIENS IN THIS GAME! To those who didn't notice them, they pop up towards the last 2 missions and they don't look exactly like the one in the movie. These ones are drones, so they don't have the crown in the back of the head like the Predalien did in the movie. The one in the movie was a young queen and therefor it looked different. The Predaliens in the game have the mandibles, they're a tad bigger and the back of the head is round and it looks as if they still have the dread locks too..
Anyway overall this is a fun game, not great, but as a Predator fan I am satisfied..
Oh and it was also made by the same people who made Predator Concrete Jungle and the new AVP game on PS3... So if you liked those games, you're most likely going to like this game too...

That's about how I sum up this game.

Other reviewers have said that fanboys are pretty much the only ones who will get the maximum amount of enjoyment out of this title. And this is true, but only to a point. I classify myself as a bit of an Alien/Predator fanboy. I've watched all of the movies, played the majority of the games, and hell, I've even read some of the books. Yes. The books. And I love them all.

However, considering all of that, this game really only kept my attention for a matter of days. It's horrendously short, and incredibly easy. It has *some* re-play value, due to the different "paths" you can take, but really, once you've made it to the last area, there's not much reason to go back. Your weapons will all be maxed out by then, and what little challenge there was at the beginning, will now be absolutely gone. I followed the uppermost path all the way to the end, and have still not gone back to the areas I missed. I just have absolutely no desire to. No, really. I tried. I seriously did. I picked it back up months later, thinking maybe it would be more difficult if I only used my wrist blades and stuck to the default vision mode... and it just wasn't fun for me anymore.

All in all, considering I bought the game used, I DO think it was worth the price I payed. I got some level enjoyment out of it. But if you're looking for a game that you will want to go back and revisit every once in a while... you're probably better off skipping this title.

The videogame Aliens vs Predator Requiem rocks! The missions are cool, and it has an awesome skirmish mode. You can fight aliens, humans, and even PredAliens. Action: 10, Music: 9, Fun: 8, Missions: 10. I just wish that it had Hybrid.

It's an alright game, I was hoping more for like a first person view and the sound could be better as well, but it's still a good game afterall.

This game was cool until I beat it 4 days later. It was fun but not much replay value, I'm gonna put it in the back of the case and maybe play it again in 4 or 5 months

My 11 yr. old son absolutely LOVES anything that has to do with Alien/Predator. I'm glad because he wasn't even born when the original Alien/Predator movies came out so it's good to know he appreciates the classics. This was part of a birthday gift which I originally bought from a private seller on Amazon. The post office managed to lose my package so AMAZON was amazing at replacing it for me with no hassles whatsoever. I am a regular customer of Amazon.com so I was extremely pleased at their customer service.
