I got this on special for about $1440 here on Amazon. It runs cool as a cucumber and is not particularly noisy. The non-overclocked Processor is 3.6 GHZ. Please note that it comes with a mouse and keyboard and a great mousepad - I replaced the mouse (which wasn't that great looking) with a Logitech G500, the keyboard works great for games but is not great for typing. Also includes a blu-ray drive along with DVD RW drive and a memory card reader. It lights up blue.

PROS: I've tested several games since I got it:
CS GO: Runs great in very high settings 1080p, looks fantastic.
Planetside 2: Runs great in Ultra Settings, 1080p, looks good.
Arma 2 Demo: Runs great in 720p. Could run in 1080p, but some of the character animations were off.
BF3 - Had trouble running in 1080p on Ultra, 1080p works great on High
Light up effects are cool.
Blue ray works great, all streaming video sites look and sound fantastic.

CONS:
Keyboard and mouse are kinda average.
Heavy and big as a Sherman tank.

I haven't tinkered with any power settings, so I might be able to crank more out of this. I just got it, but my initial impression is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Edit: Cute how people vote down my review just because they don't like Alienware. Also love the "review" by a guy who says he can build two PCs for the price of this PC. I could buy lumber at Home Depot and build a canoe for a lot less than they cost at the canoe store. I didn't ww3ant to build a PC, I wanted to get a powerful gaming PC already built using Amazon so I could return it if it didn't work. This review is an AMAZON VERIFIED PURCHASE ... this is an excellent product protected by Amazon that had by far the best price. Why don't you guys take your fan boy opinions down to the comic book shop?

IMO I must say, DO NOT BUY an Alienware. I have been an Alienware customer since 2001, having purchased three desktops in total. I still have my first two towers, and they will still boot right up to this day. Then we get to my most recent Alienware, the R4 I bought least year-and the first since Dell acquired Alienware. My warranty expired three weeks ago, and the other day my system fan starts roaring like a leaf blower. My power supply burned up, and I replaced that but my fan is still roaring as something is pulling too much juice somewhere. I am taking it to a shop to get fixed as I am tired of grasping at straws concerning this. When I talked to the guy in the shop he said "Ahhh another Dell". In the end, Alienware's quality has gone down, with the junk Dell parts being used in them. Don't be like me, save yourself some trouble and build a PC yourself or get a knowledgeable friend to help you.

After two new motherboards and graphics cards and RAM I got dell to replace it took two months but I'm rocking now. I love the one that dell sent its brand new for the trouble not a refurbished one THANKS dell better and newer Intel processor with higher NVidia GPU GTX model. Windows 8 It wasn't worth all the pain though!

I am typing this on a computer I built for the same price which also has liquid cooling and TWO GTX 670's in SLI. This computer has ONE GTX 660 for the same cost. There is basically no justification for paying this much and getting one 660. At this point you could build a computer with two 770's or 680's for the same price. That pretty Aurora case must be worth a heck of a lot.
