Alison Lewis is a nationally known Recipe Developer, Cookbook Author, Television and Social Media Food Spokesperson and Consultant, Mom Food, Fitness and Health Blogger, Food Educator, Food Photographer/Stylist, Nutritionist, and President of Ingredients, Inc., a Food Media Consulting company in Birmingham, Alabama. She is known for creating healthy, family-friendly recipes that are easy to prepare, and she offers great entertaining ideas on her blog, http://ingredientsinc.net. Her first cookbook, "400 Best Sandwich Recipes: From Classics & Burgers to Wraps & Condiments," will be internationally published by Robert Rose Books in April of 2011. Alison's recipes are frequently featured in well-known magazine publications and cookbooks such as Better Homes & Gardens, Southern Living, Cooking Light, Clean Eating, Oxygen and more as well as in many advertisements for major food brands.
Alison completed Professional Media Training from the Lisa Ekus Group in 2008, and she has a wealth of television cooking experience, appearing regularly on NBC 13 Birmingham's "Daytime Alabama", CBS 42 Birmingham, Fox 6 Birmingham, "Talk of the Town" on Channel 5 Nashville, and CBS 46 in Atlanta. She is also speaking at conferences such as Food Blog South in Birmingham, AL , Mom 2.0 Summit in New Orleans, LA, BlogHer Food 2011 in Atlanta, GA, Atlanta Food & Wine Festival in Atlanta, GA as well as speaking on "Branding" to entrepreneur groups. She is also teaching cooking classes to children at Studio B in Alys Beach, Florida and adults at Rancho La Puerta in Tecate, Mexico in 2011.

Alison teaches private and group cooking classes to children, and she has her own line of Gluten-Free Cookies. Previously, Alison was an Editor on the Food Staff at Southern Living Magazine and Oxmoor House Books after completing degrees in Marketing, Advertising and Nutrition. She attended culinary classes at The Culinary Institute in New York and Greystone and The Institute of Culinary Education in New York. A mother of three children and avid runner and photographer, Alison enjoys yoga and spending time with her family in her free time.
