About 6 months ago our 9 year old beagle started losing hair by the handfulls and acting tired. We took him to the vet who after a series of expensive tests said he had Cushings Disease. We ordered some prescription meds from an online pharmacy, but before they arrived I did some research on the internet and heard about PetAlive Cushex drops. Its a homeopathic preparation for dogs with Cushings. I've had mixed results with homepathic meds (some have worked great others don't seem to do anything for me), but I figured we would give it a try. I received the Cushex drops before the prescription stuff arrived (gotta love that quick Amazon deleivery) and gave it a try. I was totally surprised when we saw results in one day! Our beagle started running around the house playing with his toys and acting like a young pup! That effect hasn't stopped. Several of our neighbors remarked how they noticed he's all playfull and full of energy again. The hair loss stopped in about a week and has reocurred since. We never have used the prescription meds on him. After 6 months we took him back to the vet and they said that while his tests still showed Cushings, his levels were better. Time will tell. So far, this stuff is pretty amazing.
