Shortly after reforming in 2006, Candlebox returned to Seattle with all four original members in tow to play this memorable show at the storied Showbox Theater.

Alive in Seattle is a live Cd/DVD set capturing the night and is a stellar show from a vastly underrated live band. The show itself is a multi-camera shoot with excellent sound and video quality and the DVD also includes an interview from a radio station as well as acoustic performances of Cover Me and Far Behind.

I want to note that the Amazon track listing makes the DVD appear as if it only has two tracks when in fact it has the entire show + Rain as a DVD only track.

I'm glad this was finally released - Candlebox needs to be experienced in a live setting!

The description doesn't seem to mention the DVD at all. The footage is live and shot very well. Looks great on my 61" Samsung. Great sound, great video. Choice of 2.1 or 5.1 audio. Worth every penny at twice the price.

Aqueles que conhecem a trajetória do Candlebox sabem do que eu estou falando. Embora o registro ao vivo levou anos para sair ainda assim não soa datado. A apresentação das musicas soam repaginada com uma nova roupagem e muita energia, porém não fugindo muito do original... dando uma "cara" mais "live" mesmo.

A qualidade de som e vídeo são excelentes. No DVD incluíram a última faixa RAIN que acaba numa `jam session'. Diga-se de passagem os músicos continuam entrosados e alinhados com o vocal que dá um toque diferente em cada musica.
No DVD ainda inclui uma entrevista para uma rádio e `Cover me' e `Far Behind' acústico.

Altamente recomendado... vale lembrar que o custo x beneficio (CD + DVD) para quem está no Brasil é sempre vantajoso; pena a demora na entrega que é sempre de um mês.... mesmo assim vale a pena esperar.

If you were in to music in the mid nineties, and liked Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Nirvana, etc. I am sure you liked this band. This is like a greatest hits live version album, it has all the great songs that made this band. I really enjoyed the dvd especially since I never got to see them live, so if you are nostalgic for that time of great music, what are you waiting for.

I've never been inclined to write a review, but I truly loved this set. An absolute must!

I love this CD/DVD combo! What a bargain! I would have paid twice the price! Glad to see the boys at it again. Pick up their new CD "Into the Sun" as well. Also "Kevin Martin and the Hiwatts" and the disc from "Redlight Music" are recomended. Both are solo projects from Candlebox band members, there may be others I'm not aware of........

As much as I love music and as much as I love rock and roll, nothing compares to live music. Getting to listen to a live show on CD isn't as good as being there live, but it can still give you the feeling of the concert atmosphere.
Candlebox has always been one of my favorite bands and to finally hear them on a live CD/DVD is great. They play all of their biggest hits along with some fan favorites. The DVD even has a bonus song on it.
This is a great addition to any CD collection whether you are a fan of live music, rock and roll, or just good music.
Enjoy.

The concert is great. Unfortunately its hard to enjoy each song with the singer saying the "f" word constantly throughout. If you can get passed that then I would defenitely recommend it!
