Cute Adirondack Story
An interesting Adirondack story for small kids about a mail dog that travels around the Adirondacks and the world. A fun simple story with great pictures- especially the dog staring at the fish. I could picture him wagging his cute little tail!

Other books are much better
I read this book and several others about Owney...far too much cutesy language and action. Bought it, read it, gave it away. I really recommend: A Lucky Dog: Owney, U.S. Rail Mail Mascot A Lucky Dog is fantastic! I've used it with children and have participated in sending out a "Flat Owney" instead of a Flat Stanley.
