As everyone else has said these scores are difficult to come by, particularly "Leave Her To Heaven"! Even though they are not digitally remastered I still enjoy listening to this CD. I've always been a fan of Alfred Newman and his pomp and circumstance approach to the opening credits of "All About Eve" set up the story of a waning Broadway Diva perfectly! I've seen that film so many times I've lost count and there really isn't that much music except in a few key segments. This is a dialogue driven film!If you've seen "Leave Her To Heaven", you can see and hear how perfect the score is for that film. There is a slightly psychotic menace to it that fits the film perfectly. If and when these are ever remastered, these soundtracks will do just fine for now!

I've been trying to get the soundtrack to ALL ABOUT EVE for years. I tried ordering it at several music stores and on I-Tunes. Nobody had it. Who knew I could get it on Amazon? This is the original soundtrack and it is excellent. Alfred Newman's score for this movie is as good as the movie itself. The only drawback is that since this is the original soundtrack, it is largely in mono, not stereo. There are a two tracks that were rerecorded in stero, but the rest is mono. There is no other place to get this soundtrack, so if you can accept the sound limitations of mono recording you will be very satisfied with this one. This CD also includes music from LEAVE HER TOO HEAVEN.
