This is a beautiful book for preschoolers and older children alike. I purchased this book for my 3 year old who cannot get enough of Old MacDonald and anything to do with farms. This book is full of stories, printable cut and color stories for children, laminatable pictures to use on a flannel or felt board, and numerous activities such as puzzles, worksheets for math & matching, simple recipes and includes laminatable alphabet cards.
This is a wonderful book for any preschooler or daycare. With a little help from an adult, little ones can enjoy this book and it's activities day after day!

This book was more than I expected. It contained materials that were useful in all subject areas of the curriculum. When it arrived the pages were soaked through, which may have been due to transportation and packing. Overall the information was not harmed through a little drying out. I would highly reccommend this text.

I bought this after seeing it in the publishers magazine. I was very impressed with the story books, the take home books, the hand's on center ideas. This just covers it all. The price here at amazon was much less than the publisher too!
To keep this series in great shape I placed each section in sheet protectors, laminated the stories and story board shapes and placed it in a three ring binder. Now when I am teaching the unit I have everything I need in one easy, organized place. I just can not say enough good about this item or the series! I was NEVER a theme teacher until now! This is truly the best thematic series I have ever seen.
