Now comming to you live from NFG's garage..............,

whoa! that's all I can say. This is raw, very early NFG. This is not only completely different than their self titled cd, but it's also completely different from Nothing Gold Can Stay. Like Blink 182's Buddha, NFG's It's All About the Girls is raw, and with a very different sound. Jordan's voice on this cd sounds unbelievebly high and whinny. You can tell it's him, but it's just so strange. Especially when compared to any other of their cds. The guitar, bass and drums are still very NFG though. Each of the 5 songs are pretty good, and worth hearing especially if you are a big fan of NFG. This is overall a pretty good cd. However, if you only like NFG's self titled, and didn't care for Nothing Gold Can Stay, then I wouldn't check this out. However, if you are the opposite of that, then this is a must to check out.

What can I say - I love this CD. Actually, ANYTHING by NFG is fabulous, and this is just kind of an earlier version of the fabulous-ness. That makes no sense, I know, but this CD has a raw, unfinished sound that is still the amazing music of NFG. If you are any sort of NFG fan, buy this CD . . . you'll love it!!

New Found Glory is one of the best!!,

I love new Found Glory (personally, they are my favorite band around). This CD was the first one they put out, way back in the Fiddler Records days. This may be old (Chad was only 16 when it came out!), but it is one of the best in my collection. Jordan and the guys write some great songs, with lots of meaning. Personally, I think Jordan's voice was at it's best on this Album. It was full of passion back then, as opposed to now where it's really smooth (and still sounds nice, but not as powerful). You can tell he means every word of their songs. If you're into them, and haven't heard this album yet, buy it! While this album may not sound as crisp and clear as the self-titled (which used better equipment), it has some nice tunes. And if you're wondering why it's so cheap, it's because there's only 5 songs. But they are great. Worth a check-out.

When I was a lad of the age of 16, my friend made a mix CD for me. On this CD were several songs that I knew. There was "When I Come Around" by Green Day, "Total Bummer" by NOFX, several blink-182 songs, and then there were a few I didn't know. Two of those songs were "Hit and Miss" and "It Never Snows In Florida." Yes, I realize that those songs are not on this CD, but that was my first introduction to New Found Glory. Of course, back then they were just changing from A New Found Glory to New Found Glory. Their self-titled CD had just been release that year. What I heard was from Nothing Gold Can Stay. There wasn't all the hype from "My Friends Over You" or "All Downhill From Here." It was just a bunch of guys playing music. Jordan couldn't sing great, and the rest couldn't play perfectly, but they loved what they did. I think the best song on here is "Standstill." It's beautiful. But this CD is what it is, nothing more or less. It's not suger-coated pop-punk. It's not rebel-from-your-parents punk rock. And it's definately not cut your wrists hardcore. It's what New Found Glory has always been: a bunch of guys playing music and having fun. Just because it's poorly recorded doesn't mean it's any worse than Catalyst. That's why I love NFG. No matter how big they get, they'll still answer your emails on myspace, they'll still talk to you like you're just as good as them, they're still normal guys who just happen to be in a band. This CD is a brilliant piece of history. If you love NFG like me, or if you just like them like most of my friends, this CD is a must: a classic.

This cd is soooo freakin awesome you don't have to be a diehard fan to like it i'm not a diehard fan and i like it just as much it is definetly like Blink-182's buddah i dont know why people hate it just because it doesn't sound as polished as their newer stuff it doesnt mean it's a bad cd and it also has ferris bueller lines throughout the songs and that is one of my favorite 80's movies thats awesome so whoever thinks this cd is crap well then they need to shove off because what can you expect for their first cd it's pretty awesome compared to what some people can do.

Although I never bought the original CD, this repackaged one is great. Everyone says the quality is horrible and that, but it really isn't It's probably just as good as one of the newer CD's except a little underproduced. The songs on here I think have some of the best lyrics and don't really seem to fit the rest of NFG's songwriting cliche's. The songs also contain clips from the movie "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" which can be comical at times, but the best part about the whole cD is the music. There's also a little part at the end of the CD that goes for about 2 minutes of just them talking which you can barely understand anything unless you have the volume turned way up. All in all a great CD and probably fans of NGCS will like it especially....

I can't get enough of New Found Glory. Every CD they pump out has great tunes. This CD is just another example of it. There are few CD's I own where I like every song on the disk, but this is one I could listen to all the way through a couple times a day and be a happier young man.
