Amazing voice!, March 18, 2008

How often can you say you love EVERY song on an album? Every single song on All About You is great. I stumbled on Angela's music while looking for opera (since she's classically trained) and listening to her songs completely renewed my love of music, after not listening to much of anything for years. Now THAT's something! Have a listen and you will be hooked!

Heart and Soul, July 28, 2007

Ms. Ortiz, on this her first CD, is a talented singer/songwriter/pianist. Each cut stands on its own. Her voice and piano skills are so fine. She demonstrates both tenderness and gutsy power. At times I think this music is meant for Broadway or as a movie soundtrack with some songs feeling nostalgic and other that hit hard! You will want to listen over and over to this one! NPR's Open Mic review, May 2, 2007
This review is from: All About You (Audio CD)
National Public Radio says: February 6, 2007 The daughter of two schoolteachers, Angela Ortiz taught herself to play piano in a house on twenty-four acres of evergreen forest in rural Western New York state. Her unique brand of piano pop was described by All Indie Radio as, "right on the edge of jazz and Broadway, but ...all dressed and ready to go as contemporary pop."
