Great Stuff
I was looking for a DVD that could help me teach kids the proper way of shooting the basketball and I found it. This video teaches in small segments that are simple to digest. It went over the crucial areas of footwork, form and follow through that I now feel confident in teaching. I purchased the scoring dvd and was impressed by the knowledge I gained in 30 mins. This...

Too fundamental
The video is OK when you are trying to find the best way to shoot, however, and I haven't found any DVD that shows these details, it does not provide many shooting drills. For example, how to train the ball release (use the appropriate fingers), how to improve the coordination between ball release and jump, how to avoid body bending when you are going to shoot. Too fundamental,

The video is OK when you are trying to find the best way to shoot, however, and I haven't found any DVD that shows these details, it does not provide many shooting drills. For example, how to train the ball release (use the appropriate fingers), how to improve the coordination between ball release and jump, how to avoid body bending when you are going to shoot. It does not shows in detail the mechanics of the arm, for example, until where do I have to bring the arm (should the ball be next to my face, should it be above my head), should the ball rest in my hand beside my head or should it never rest there in order to make the shooting faster. In summary, it is a good DVD for beginners.
