Ronnie Milsap is an American country singer whose success in the 70s and 80s crossed over into the mainstream.

He was born with a congenital eye defect which left him blind and resulted him being place in the State School for the Blind in Raleigh, North Carolina. This is a compilation of great Milsap songs from 1977 to 1981, including several songs from Milsap's tribute to Jim Reeves that I have not been able to find on CD: I Really Don't Want to Know and He'll Have to Go. This is a must for Milsap fans and includes songs not on the various greatest hits albums. Buy it, then write to BMG and ask them to release Ronnie's early albums on compact disc.

When I listened one of the songs on this album, "It was almost like a song", I couldn't stop the tears flowing from my eyes. It reminded me my first love which was gone with the wind.

Ronnie Milsap is my FAVORITE country artist. Loved hearing these good old songs again. I have his records, but this is my first CD of his. LOVE IT...LOVE IT!!
