4.0 out of 5 stars Mouth watering potato recipes, March 25, 2000

This review is from: The All-American Potato Cookbook (Plastic Comb)
I bought this book about 15 years ago at the Wisconsin State Fair. My dad liked it so much that he had me go back to the fair to get him a copy of the same book. We've both made many recipes from it and haven't found one yet that we've disliked. Favorite so far: Wine potatoes

I love these old cookbooks that groups put together for fundraising. You never know how many gems you will find inside.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wisconsin Potato Growers, March 17, 2002
This review is from: The All-American Potato Cookbook (Plastic Comb)
Hello, everyone! I am listed as the author of the All-American Potato Cookbook. However, I would like to clarify, after all these years, that I was the editor of this book--not the author per se. The recipes were supplied by the lovely ladies of the Wisconsin Potato Growers Association. Their recipes were the backbone of the book. I merely provided editorial assistance. They, in fact, funded the printing; it's their book and they deserve the credit for it.

That being said, I would like to add that there are a lot of great recipes in this book. They were all kitchen-tested by the company that published the book, so I know the recipes work.

My personal feeling about potatoes is this: I never met a potato I didn't like.

Buy this book and enjoy using it!
