4.0 out of 5 stars Do not sleep on this, January 17, 2003

Aceyalone of the freestyle fellowship is an unique indivisual. He has numerous styles that he dispalys on this album. I believe that this album was as unique as they come. You wont't hear anything about bling bling on this album. I like to call it abstract rap. Each song has a message of it's own. "Mic Check" is clearly th best song on the album. This album, without a doubt is worth checking out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bring your mind to the table & have your dictionary handy., November 20, 2003

Aceyalone by all means shattered my perception of underground hip-hop with this album. This cat altered all of the rules on this one. Never have I experienced a lyricis that can masterfully rhyme around, on and through beats that are difficult for the mind to wrap around. There is even a song on this album that requires a dictionary handy in order to grasp what he is talking about. When listening to Ace One you are not only bieng entertained you are bieng educated. But for those that can't fathom his musical style just remember that "All Balls Don't Bounce".

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Aceyalone album out there, October 1, 2003

I like Aceyalone a lot, but I have to say this was the best of all of his music, from Freestyle Fellowship, through his solo career, and including his appearances on single tracks. This album is solid. Great beats and an excellent flow. This is a really difficult CD to find, too - I had to buy it through Germany... You should definitely add this to your collection if you like Aceyalone.
