I wanted to see how NUFAN sounded (always heard OF them, never actually HEARD them), so I figured 26 of the bands "best songs" for 8 whole dollars is a pretty good price to pay to see if I like the band or not.

As it turns out, they're pretty good! The music is the same type of post-hardcore West Coast punk that made NOFX so popular, but unlike NOFX, these guys aren't jokey (and there's NO ska, fyi). They write some hooky songs and they clearly sound like they care about the music they're making.

Its not the most original sounding punk rock out there, but I like this disc a lot, and I always have respect for the bands that jam as many songs as they can onto their "best of" CD.

So if you like 90's punk but haven't heard NUFAN yet, I say give this a shot, you get lots of great music on one very low priced disc.

I shan't say much about this review cause if NUFAN releases a greatest hits compilation,you gotta get it,be it you are a fan or otherwise (which you will be after purchasing this). Damn, my repeat button is now faulty.

This is a like a great mix from a best friend. It truly does have all the best songs from NUFAN. I love it and listen to it over and over.
