Scott Owen was born in Grimsby in July 1971 and educated overseas in Bahamas, Greece and Dubai.
After returning to England in 1987 he completed a two year course in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning at Grimsby College.
A twenty year career alternated between engineering and the motor industry, mainly because Scott found the engineering world mundane, while his passion for cars came at the expense of "having a life", in terms of the exhausting hours required.
He wrote his first book "All Buyers Are Liars" in 2009 and started his own company - SO Presentable, to provide sales and promotional solutions to local businesses.
