I might be biased because they're buddies of mine...

I have seen their first few NY shows and they have really grown! Each show highlights tighter riffs, more stage swagger, and a growing fan base.
The Biters is Tuk's new band after The Heart Attacks quickly flat lined. Biters have the foundation of raw riffs from The Heart Attacks, but that's it. Tuk and company takeoff with catchy melodies and hook filled choruses that make their records memorable. Paying homage to 60's garage pop, 70's punk swagger, and the excitement of early rock n' roll has Biters sounding fresh and impressive despite obvious comparisons to their forefathers. Tuk has taken all the hard learned lessons from his previous band and sounds refreshed and more focused.

Biters consistently record and tour, but don't suffer from over exposure. Twin guitar attacks with Matt Gabs makes the group sound strong and offers a nice balance to their melodic approach; they don't suffer from sounding too poppy. They have the talent and drive to really make an impact and I stand behind them.

These guys sound like while growing up maybe they were huge fans of both Cheap Trick, and AC/DC, and somehow managed to combine those two sounds to get a sound that's melodic but very rocking.
