This classic straight-sided 1-quart saucepan shows how thoroughly Cop-R-Chef marries form and function. Because the aluminum core extends up the sides, foods cook uniformly in the pan, even though it's 2 inches deep. And because the interior is nonreactive, tomato-based sauces and other acidic foods won't taste metallic. Its polished 18/10 stainless-steel pan and lid handles are riveted for strength and grooved on the top for comfort. The long handle (holed for hanging on a hook or peg) stays cool on the stovetop but won't be harmed by an oven's heat. Because harsh detergents darken copper, hand washing this cookware is recommended. --Fred Brack

Nice, but not perfect.,

This review is from: All-Clad Cop-R-Chef 1-Quart Saucepan (Kitchen)
This a beautiful little sauce pot to hang on a pot-rack or look pretty on the stove-top. Daily, I use it to warm a can of soup, make gravy, cook a can of corn, or green beans. Its the perfect size for making small quantity sauces, like rum-butter sauce, etc. The pot bottom is a good size, but the sides are a little on the short side. The copper looks great, but keep in mind this is not a true copper pot like the Mauviel or Falk. This is a very thin copper "veneer" mostly for looks. However, since the pot is All-Clad after all, the fit and finish is very nice. It has very even heat dispersion, and no doubt the copper helps that to some degree. If you are a die hard All-Clad fan, need copper, can deal with the inferior handles, and need a small, well made, heavy, last forever 1 quart, then this will work just fine. If your standards are a little higher, spring for the real deal.
