The quality of the colander is excellent. However, the holes in the colander are too large. When draining noodles, they tend to come out the holes.

This is an excellent colander, I love it. All my cookware is All Clad Stainless Steel so I decided to buy this colander and have not been disappointed. Although this is the smaller of the two sizes All Clad makes it is very roomy. This colander can drain a pound of pasta (even a pound of lasagna) without any problems. It is also great for rinsing salad, the solid side handles make it very easy to manage. It is made very well and is very sturdy. The cleanup is also very easy. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, gleaming 18/10 stainless. I've owned this for two years, and it still looks as good as the day I bought it. Truly a lovely, functional item.

I bought both the 3qt and 5qt all-clad colanders. The 3qt size is the only one my family of 4 needs. We use it to rinse produce and drain pasta. If I had known before my purchase, I would have never bought the 5qt size.

When I first opened the box and saw this colander, I thought I maybe should have ordered a larger size since it looks deceptively small. However, I quickly found out that this colander is able to hold quite alot! The larger holes also mean better draining. The smaller size of this colander compared to others I've had actually works to it's advantage - it's easier to find room in the dishwasher for it and it fit's under my kitchen faucet better. Also, I just like the look of it. Very well made and worth the money.

From the first sight you can see the quality, and craftmanship of the materials. It is large enough for any family. I love the raised pedestal, I can now strain my food without water from the sink getting back into my food. This will be something that you can pass on to generations.

This colander is fantastic. We already had the 5-quart colander when I bought this one as a gift for my wife. At first I didn't see the need for the smaller size, now it's the one we use most often. Three quarts is great size for most things.

As with all of our other All-Clad products, this colander is well made and stands up to lots of abuse. I wouldn't buy any other colander.

The quality of this colander is what you would expect from All Clad. However, a very important factor in my decision to purchase All Clad products is the fact that they are made in the USA. This colander is made in China.

After going through dozens of various types and sizes of Colanders over the years, we finally decided that it was time to put an end to this waste and purchase the best Colander we could find. Our decision to purchase the 5 qt version of the All-Clad Colander was the right one. Not only is this product well made, it looks great and most importantly, it works great! The 5 qt size gives us the capacity to handle any straining job, and although it has a high capacity, the Colander itself is the perfect size. Not too big and not too small. It is JUST RIGHT!

Based on the high quality of this product, we don't expect we will ever need to buy another Colander for our kitchen... EVER! ;o)

The only concern I had about this colander were the size of the holes. But I have used this twice now with angel hair pasta and have not had any of the pasta find their way through the holes. I'll admit that I am biased towards All-Clad products but this colander is the best I have ever used/seen.
