Folks should know, the All-Clad Presso was discontinued years ago.

Presso now manufacture and distribute a redesigned unit which is currently not available on Amazon. The new units are branded "Presso" and not "All-Clad".

You can also tell an All-Clad unit from the double spout on the portafilter - as you can see in the feature picture here. The other two photos show the new non All-Clad model.

All-Clad Pressos have no warranty.

This espresso maker looks pretty cool but I was skeptical about how well it actually would work. I was pleasantly surprised. It is super fast and easy to use. It is just as convenient as an electric machine--except for the lack of foam. The espresso it brews is coffee house quality. I love it! Definitely a 5 star product!

May wife and I are amazed at how well this manual espresso maker works! We have been using it two to four times a day for several weeks now and have not been disappointed with a single cup.
Preparation and cleanup are both quick and easy. We will be taking the Presso camping in a few weeks. What a luxury that will be!
Only reservation is that the dual cup attachment indicated on the box was not present.

i absolutely love this machine. i was somewhat hesitant at first and it actually sat on our counter a week before we used it because i think we were afraid of it. we eventually succumbed to curiosity and after a three or four attempts had made some pretty decent espresso (i'm not an espresso fan but the hubby is and he approved). where i was impressed was making cafe americano. it's actually so easy and yummy that i've quit making coffee in our french press in the morning and just use this. just heat your machine, parts and cup up with some hot water beforehand and it works great.

I use a carafe under the filter as randomly the one port delivers much more than other. Tried varing the compaction of the grinds and it remains a random event.

If the unit was designed with one port and an enclosed carafe then I would vote 5 stars.

Their tip to work the press a second time on air does help produce a foam.
