The All Clad Copper Core Round Bottom Wok has the rounded bottom of a traditional Chinese wok. This piece is a beautiful addition to any kitchen and is wonderful for braising and deep frying. The round bottom wok includes a stainless fire ring, for placing the wok on your burner, and a stainless tempura rack, for draining fried foods. The set also includes a recipe created by Chef Thomas Keller specifically for the use of this wok.

It is a fantastic wok! Very heavy, good heat dispersion just as a wok should have. Though this all assumes that an epicurean such as yourself who is looking to purchase an All Clad Copper Core product is equipped with a gourmet kitchen that has a gas burner stove.

If you have fallen into the en vogue glass top stove - run away! It won't work!!! I've had the wok for a few years, and unfortunately as work has made me move a lot, I never seem to get a gas stove. Therefore this wok has been a paperweight in my basement, save the rare occasion I use it on the grill burner.
