I've purchased all of the All-Clad bakeware assortment and I am quite sure that each piece will outlast me. They are a joy to use, though I miss blaming poor results on my bakeware instead of 'user error'.

First the pros: this isn't your lightweight variety stainless steel. Each piece is substantial and does an excellent job of heating evenly/quickly. The handles on the bakers are particularly handy (pun intended), and keep your hands out of pies/cakes,etc. Everything is securely riveted and will stand up to rigorous use.

The cons: Steep price tag, the handles riveted to the inside of the pan aren't smooth or flush with the interior. Perhaps I am being nitpicky here, but for the mint that these cost, I expected impeccable fit and finish. Despite this, I'd still buy these again, (in fact, I bought several of each variety for entertaining larger crowds).

If you're in the market for new or upgraded bakeware/ovenware, these are excellent from baking to presentation. If you consider the price too steep, just figure the cost of these over the lifetime that they will last you, (and you're children's children).

5.0 out of 5 stars great pie, December 28, 2008
This review is from: All Clad Ovenware 10 Inch Pie Plate (Kitchen)
Can' believe I spend so much on a piepan. But it was worth the cost. Just used this wonderful piepan to make a great pie. Crust was evenly browned and pie came out great. Handles are so easy with potholders No sticky potholder or burnt fingers. All I can say is if you like to bake pies spurge on yourself and get this piepan.

5.0 out of 5 stars All Clad Pie plate., October 6, 2011

Since I've been watching the Food Network for some time I decided to purchase this pie plate, a little hesitant at first because it's not cheap but after receiving the package, I can say that this is real quality made by All-Clad. Much heavier than those cheap aluminum pie plates and after accidentally breaking our glass pie plate I took a chance. You get what you pay for. Made my cherry pie and it turned out wonderful. Nice thing is that it has two handles which is really convenient especially when the pie starts to bubble and drips a little over the edge. You don't get any sauce on your oven mitts. Oh and I also used this as a paella pan, good for 2-3 helpings and also for flans. Very versatile.
