5.0 out of 5 stars Worth every penny
My husband begged to replace our non-stick skillet, so we decided to spend the extra money and buy our second all-clad skillet. I wasn't sure about the higher sides in the French-style skillet, but now that we have it, I realize it makes the skillet far more versitle. We've had it for 3-4 months and use it at least 3 times a week. It has become our kitchen work horse.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not Up to Par
This skillet is not ready for prime time and not up to par with other All-Clad skillets. It is very lightweight which makes it feel like a cheap bargain-basement purchase, not something that costs $60.00. The handle on this skillet is the worst I have ever seen. It is extremely uncomfortable to hold unlike other All-Clad handles. The upper edges are so thin they feel as...

The upper edges are so thin they feel as if they could cut into the hand. The customer service rep at All-Clad told me all of their French skillets have the same handle so that means I will not be buying more.

5.0 out of 5 stars What I expect from All Clad, December 15, 2008

We got this pan in July (6 months before this review) and we've been using it more or less non-stop since then. It works very nicely on our ceramic, smooth-topped electric range and has held up through many rides in the dishwasher. Not a mark on the non-stick interior yet. The handle hasn't struck me as much, if at all, different than the many other All-Clad pots and pans that I've got.

The pan is a bit lighter than the 8 inch regular non-stick stainless skillet but holds its heat quite well. It was a good price versus the 8 inch skillet, too.

1.0 out of 5 stars uneven bottom, November 27, 2008

Had to return this pan because bottom was 1/8 inch higher in middle than edges - not good. Also had the same experience with 9 and 11 inch nonstick pans. I did get a 9 inch non-nonstick pan that had a perfectly flat bottom and I love it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Non-stick doesn't hold up, November 13, 2008

OK, I am a HUDGE fan of All Clad, but the two non-stick pans just have not held up. I would recommend all the wonderful regular stainless, and get a cheap non-stick pan that you plan to replace each year for things that really need a non-stick for.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent Enough, October 30, 2011

We do not use nonstick cookware very often in our house. For the most part, we only use this particular skillet for eggs. The skillet appears to be well-made with a nonstick coating that will last, but the handle is very uncomfortable. It is long, it is at an awkward angle, and it digs into your palm when you are holding it. Also with our skillet it seems like half of it gets hotter than the other side. It is subtle, but still noticeable.

Overall I would probably not buy this skillet again if given the choice. There are too many other options out there than to have to deal with the annoyances of this one.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad but considering it has life time warranty think about it?, November 20, 2010
This review is from: All-Clad Stainless 11-Inch Nonstick French Skillet (Kitchen)
I owned this pan for almost 9 month and the nonstick portion went bad from washing it etc. However I brought back to the store and since they have a lifetime warranty the store exchanged it for me for a new pan. Can't beat that?

2.0 out of 5 stars Lid doesn't fit skillet, December 27, 2011

I purchased this item when I saw it on special and ordered the All-Clad 7-1/2 lid to go with it. The items arrived together, but the lid does not fit the pan. Instead of sitting on the rim of the skillet, it drops inside the pan about 1/4 inch. I don't know who in China is handling quality control, but in this country if we make a lid to go with a pan, it actually fits the pan.

5.0 out of 5 stars Like so much it is a second, November 25, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is a very versatile non stick skillet. The size is medium so not too heavy but big enough to say scramble eggs for 4. I use it for everything from grilling sandwiches to finish pasta in sauce and for making chicken piccata or other dishes with a sauce, etc. etc. Love it and use it lots so I bought a second.
