This pan is excellent! 10 stars would be more like it! This sturdy, substantial, top quality pan is perfect for evenly cooking all your breakfast foods, grilled sandwiches, saute, etc. It has a low profile and the bottom is flat so you can cook using less energy and achieve superior results. The usable cooking surface is far greater than most larger but lower quality pans, and it takes up little storage space. It is constructed of top quality stainless steel inside and out with a double-riveted stainless steel handle. The third ply is aluminum, bonded between the layers of stainless which provides awesome heat conduction and even heat distribution, but the aluminum is completely sealed inside and never touches your food. It is oven safe up to 500 degrees so you can start cooking on the stove and finish it or keep it warm in the oven. It is a beautiful pan that is dishwasher safe and it should last a lifetime. For half a century I have used inferior pans with inferior results. With All-Clad stainless I am learning to enjoy cooking again with beautiful results! For the overall value this is an excellent buy and I recommend it without reservation!

I wouldn't buy any other cookware. The 3 quart saute pan is a must have as well. The handles stay cool and it cleans beautifully!

I wasn't even looking for a pan like this, but Amazon had a special offer (either Gold Box or Friday Sale) that I couldn't resist. I enjoy frittatas and thought this would be the perfect pan for making them.

When the pan arrived, I was initially dismayed because it IS very big in diameter and I am usually cooking for one.

But I tried it that evening and it has quickly become my favorite saute pan. The even heat distribution and straight sides produce great results no matter what I put in here. Cleanup is a dream and storage has not proven to be a problem (just turn the pan upside down and pout on top of my others).

And yes, it is great for fritattas as well. Can't wait to try a flambe in it!

In my quest for a quality, reasonably priced stainless saute pan, I came across this All-Clad 10.5" Flambe pan. I would have preferred a deeper All-Clad saute pan but the price difference was too great. It is now the most used piece of my collection and the shallow depth rarely if ever creates an issue for the dishes I cook. The quality, of course, is top-notch and it heats, cooks and browns flawlessly. It also cleans up surprisingly easy.
You won't be disappointed with this pan!

Couldn't resist the price on this one, about half the cost of the blemished All-Clads. Once I got it and used it, found it very useful for me. I cook for 1-2 people alot, and it is a perfect size when you don't want to bring out the big pans. Plus, All-Clad always heats up evenly and cleans up well. Steaks, breasts, pasta sauces, even paella work great in this pan.

This saute pan is extremely useful and the quality is excellent. Even though I cook for only 2, I end up using this pan almost every time I cook, mainly for sauteing vegetables, cooking meats and fish, etc. This size pan is actually large enough to fit about 6 to 8 large crab cakes at a time for example, but it is also perfect for cooking about 4 items that need to be cooked spaced apart, such as burgers or fish fillets. It has also been great for pan sauces compared to non-stick of course. It cooks very evenly, and requires a lower flame setting on the range than all the low-quality cookware I have used in the past. It is easy to wash by hand, especially if you soak the pan or just wash it soon after use. I did put this in the dishwasher one time, and it did fine. At this price, this is a great way to try All-Clad for the first time (like me) if you do not own any good cookware yet, or it would be a versatile addition if you are already using quality cookware. I will be buying more All-Clad Stainless pieces soon, and this was a great introduction to the line.

Great pan - I was amazed at how evenly it cooks your food. Of course, it's stainless so the clean-up isn't nearly as easy as with a non-stick pan...

Great piece and as usual with All Clad - Great Value. Can't be beat!
