This 2 quart saucier is one of my favorite All Clad pans. This is actually the first All Clad pan I bought and I was so happy with it that I now have almost the whole line of All Clad cookware. I love this size for making rice pilaf; it is wider and has lower sides than a saucepan, which I prefer for simmering rice. It is also a great size for one or two boil in the bag veggies or simmering soup for one or two. It is made very well, is easy to clean, heats evenly and is designed to last. All Clad cookware is one of the most expensive lines around and it is worth every penny, it really is lifetime cookware (with a lifetime warranty to prove it). This saucier is a definite must have, it is a very versatile size and is a nice pan to start with. Very, very highly recommended! A+++!

Also, if you should get something stuck to the stainless steel use a product called "Bar Keepers Friend" to clean it. Most supermarkets have it and Kitchen Etc. and Bed, Bath and Beyond carry it too. The container (like a Comet can) is gold with blue and white writing. All Clad recommends it for cleaning stainless steel and it works like a dream and is very inexpensive.

The curved sides of this pan make it the perfect saucier, and when you're constantly whisking a sauce (such as a bechamel) you couldn't ask for anything better. The All-Clad reputation says it all - top of the line.

The All-Clad 2 quart saucier is a must for every kitchen. It allows for the making of sauces and gravy a snap. There are no corners that a whisk cannot get to. It is a joy to use.

While I never quite cook in this, I do reheat sauces in this pot all the time and never quite have to worry about it burning because of the even heat you get with All-Clad. It also works well in a pinch when I need to use my 2-qt. sauce pan for something else or the high sides would be awkward.

This is a very versatile pot. I use it for ramen, spaghetti, tortellini, udon, boiling potstickers, boiling veggies, cooking soup, making mashed potatoes. Everything cooks evenly, cleaning (I handwash) is a snap. Having a lid is wonderful for steaming veggies (with an oxo steamer insert I use). For a single person who likes to eat well it is quite possibly the most useful pot ever - AND of course since it's all clad, it is really gorgeous. Just having it hanging above my range makes my kitchen look fancier. What more could you ask for, really?

Recommend it for single people, or for people who love to cook.

This is a wonderful saucier. The rounded sides are perfect. Just a great pot.

The 2 Quart Saucier Pan has been an incredibly wonderful addition to my set. I absolutely love its versatility and its sleek looks.

This pan is a great all-purpose size for heating soup, etc. It is simple to clean with a little Barkeepers Friend. It is a beautiful pan, inside and out. Handle could be a little more ergonomic, especially when the pan is full. All-Clad is the best when it comes to sauce pans.

The heavy stainless All Clad saucier is functional; but with exposure to lots of water, the stainless steel can pit over time. It still has a thicker stainless layer than other lightweight cookware, but stainless is not impervious to the elements. I will seek enamelware in the future because porcelain is the ultimate nonreactive coating for cookware.
