Great casserole for family style dinners,

This review is from: All-Clad Stainless 6 Quart Buffet Casserole (Kitchen)
This review is for the all clad 6 quart SS buffet casserole. I have a glass top electric oven and I heated up the pan on medium heat to saute vegetables and then increased it to high heat as soon as I started adding the meat. The pan seemed to hold itself well under these circumstances. No burns on my meat. Great for big family style dinners. I would recommend this to anyone who cooks for a family of 4++.

I don't have a lot of storage space or money to buy multiple pans, so I really went nuts researching the different options before I purchased this pan (as it really has to wear a lot of hats in my house). I'm an intermediate level cook and love to brown four chicken breast at a time and make pan sauces. My 10 inch skillet wasn't cutting it. I could only fit three breasts at a time and it was driving me crazy. This is obviously a high quality pan and works quite well (as I assume all all-clad products are), but here is the great thing- it's huge and can fit anything I can imagine- BUT there is no huge handle that makes it impossible to store. That is a blessing for someone without tons of cabinets. It also makes it so much easier to clean in the sink. AND it's easy on the eyes if you want to bring your food to the table directly in it. Long story short- I love this pan and highly recommend it.
