I have owned this slow cooker for two years. It was less than six months old when it began to show signs of wear. The black plastic around the keypad cracked and has slowly chipped off in small pieces ever since them. Currently, more than half of it is missing. I have also had to reattach the feet on 3 different occasions. On the other hand, I have not had any problems that affect its function; the machine works well.
I would not recommend this item--although it works adequately, I expect better quality in this price range and from All Clad in general.

I received this slow cooker for a Christmas gift. The very first time I used it (to make a pot roast) I went to lift the insert out and one of the handles came right off in my hand sending hot vegetables and gravy all over me and the kitchen.
I sent an Email to All-Clad customer service and although they say they will answer within 1-2 business days it took over a week to get a reply, they wanted me to call them with more info. I've called 4-5 times as soon as I get home from work about 4:45 (EST)and get a recording saying they're closed even though the recording says they're open until 5:30! I sent a second Email about 2 weeks ago and still haven't received a reply. I thought All-Clad made a superior product but this isn't worth it. They're customer service is horrible. I'll think twice before buying another of their products, I recommend choosing another brand.

I have owned my slow cooker for about 2 years and it just went out with expensive meat inside which I had to toss. The consumer line at All Clad didn't care. I would not purchase again. If you look on their website you'll see their supposed to be superior quality. Do not believe it.
When it worked it was great but a product this price shouldnt fail so soon.
