I bought this skimmer approx. one year ago and I use it more then I ever thought. Great kitchen utensil. And yes - it looks good and the quality is all there - the last one I'll ever have to buy.

This is the best quality skimmer I've ever seen, but it is so heavy that its functionaly is in question. Hence, 4 stars instead of 5.

All Clad utensils are made in China for the most part, but I still have a full set of tools with several add on tongs, fish turners, etc. The skimmer just isn't as functional as the pure mesh style skimmers. Sure it can skim out large items like bay leaves, bones, etc., but the foam and other minuscule items you really need to strain out just pass on through.

This purchase I probably should have returned. The large and hand held mesh strainers may need to be replaced every few years, but they do the job with far more efficiency.

The build quality of the all clad strainer is very high as usual, but the functionality isn't there.

Its quality is very good, but It's too flat to hold things. I will keep it, even may not use it often.

I like the holes in this skimmer-not too big, not too small. Mesh skimmers are harder to clean. All Clad handles feel comfortable and sturdy in your hand. It replaced cheap skimmers that were all bent up. I know that won't happen to an all clad one!

I use this a lot to strain foods when removing from cooking pan. It is handy and easy to clean.

All my pots and pans are All-clad and Cuisinart Pro Multiclad. So I recently also bought utensils from both lines to complete my professional chef cookware. This skimmer is one of my favorites. I used it for shrimp scampi the day it arrived and it made such a difference in the cooking experience. Because it's substantial stainless steel it can deal with the hottest environment and take control of the pot/pan. I love how heavy it is. In some ways, the utensils really need to be in control for the food to cook right and to be removed from the pan at the right moment. No more lightweight plastic stuff for me. I also love that these products have lifetime guarantees and are intended to last a lifetime.

I've been impressed with the current line of All-Clad's kitchen utensils, and this skimmer is no different than its heavy duty spoons. Well designed, easy to clean, its length is just about perfect, and the holes are slightly larger than normal, letting you drain your food -- fries, stir-fry, meat, etc. -- in less than two seconds. Highly recommended.

I just love All-Clad products. I have a kitchen filled with All-Clad cookware and utensils. Now I've added the Skimmer to my collection and have found so many uses for it. A great value!
