Product Description

Amazon.com Review

Renowned worldwide for its cookware collections, All-Clad now makes kitchen accessories, and that's welcome news to serious and professional cooks. This 14-1/2-inch turner is a perfect example of the tools' professional-grade quality. It's made of heavy 18/10 stainless steel that is polished to a mirror finish. The handle, which features the same famous design used in All-Clad's cookware, is grooved on the top and rounded on the bottom for comfort and holed in the end for hanging on a hook or peg. This turner's 8-by-4-inch head makes it possible to flip fish in a pan or on the grill and serve it while keeping it intact. The head is perforated to prevent fish from sticking to it and to drain away any cooking fat. All-Clad tools are dishwasher-safe and carry a lifetime warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

Product Description

The haddock is baked to sweet flaky perfection, but you can't very well bring it to the table in a baking dish and that's where the tricky part comes in. Getting a delicate piece of fish from pan to plate can be a test of coordination, nerve, and timing. Unless of course you have a fish turner, which not only turns fragile fish neatly and safely but allows you to get it to a plate in one piece.

2.0 out of 5 stars Overrated, November 3, 2001

I don't understand the fascination with All Clad products. While I like the turner part of this fish turner, it has THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE HANDLE of any tool in my kitchen. What is All Clad thinking? Don't their designers ever use their equipment.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fish turner from All Clad, February 16, 2003

Beautiful to look at and high quality from All Clad are good reasns to buy this item. But, another purchaser wrote it was uncomfortable to use and that's right. I thought it didn't matter so I bought it. It isn't just uncomfortable, it feels terrible in your hand even if you are only using it for a few seconds. However it does the job and it isn't expensive.
