I just received this book from a book swap, as I love the style of Art Nouveau and was looking for inspiration for my own artwork. For me, if I had paid the normal price for a hard cover book I'd be dissatisfied.

I was disappointed to see that a lot of the pictures of the jewelry or smaller pieces are quite simply blurry. Not so much that they look like they were taken by someone with the jitters in a dark room, but not the professional quality you would hope for and expect in a book like this. They do well to show the overall look of the pieces, but if you were hoping to see the finest details you'll be out of luck.

It does have a good collection of pieces though, and the author was sure to showcase the different mediums of Art Nouveau such as architecture, glass, ceramics, jewelry and furniture. If you can get this book super cheap and you don't mind a bit of blurriness, I would recommend it.
