The other reviewer said it all but forgot to mention the contributions of Frank Foster on one of the sessions - By the way this isn't the complete sessions due to the 80 min. time limit. You have to buy them individually for that long version of Body And Soul and another track or two.

A TERRIFIC album, March 22, 2009

This is a TERRIFIC jazz album.Kenny Burrell plays with soulful bluesiness and is VERY SMOOTH,very inventive.Donald Byrd's tone is,as usual,as clear as a bell and his playing is great on this album.Hank Mobley is his usual terrific self.Jerome Richardson on flute is also excellent.A great jazz album.
