About the Author
Dr. Herbert Lockyer was born in London in 1886, and held pastorates in Scotland and England for 25 years before coming to the United States in 1935. In 1937 he received the honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Northwestern Evangelical Seminary. In 1955 he returned to England where he lived for many years. He then returned to the United States where he continued to devote time to the writing ministry until his death in November of 1984. Bible Study tool that reads like a devotional,

I am a fan of the late Dr. Herbert Lockyer's books. All the Divine Names and Titles in the Bible happens to be the one I most refer to when studying or preparing a talk. He has done the intial, exhaustive research of listing all the names of the Trinty and giving scriptural references for each as well as a giving commentary on them. Though, I tend to stay away from commentaries, I find Lockyer's to be very straightforward with scripture and exceptionally praise-worthy.

As all of Lockyear's "All of the....in the Bible" this book is an easy-to-read and valuable resource. Great for personal devotions focusing on the Names and Attributes of God, topical study, or sermon preparation. Highly recommended.
