I'm an italian journalist and I had some years ago the opportunity to listen Vince Jones in concert in some pubs of Melbourne. It has been my best experience in music. I listened everything of Vince Jones, I pushed many friends in Italy to buy CD of Vince (unfortunately is not so easy to find them here) and "It all end up in tears" it's one of the best. When I listen Jettison I still cry

Vince Jones is little known outside Australia. However I encourage those of you stumbling upon this review to take the plunge and buy this CD. It is truly a definitive, heart-wrenching collection of magnificent jazz/pop songs. Vince Jones' silky voice spans octaves with effortless ease. His songwriting is extraordinary - intelligent, tightly crafted, socially aware, moving. I have listened to this album so many times I know every word and every note by heart. Once you have found this CD, you will want to explore the rest of Vince Jones' rich collection of albums. If only he wasn't so damn anti-commercial, perhaps more people would have the pleasure of listening to his extraordinary music.

This was the 2nd CD I ever bought and it's still one of my favourites. Clever melodies, touching songs and great musicians. Very different from other jazz offerings. Very classy. BUY IT
