This review is from: All in the Family - Dingbat's Liberation [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I own most of the 'All In The family' videos and this one has to be my favorite. I love all three episodes. Archie The Hero is my favorite. Archie boasts about saving this "big beautiful dame's" life in the cab by giving her mouth to mouth resuscitation, or as he would say "restitution". When she shows up at the Bunker's to thank him, he finds out that Beverly LaSalle isn't a she at all, it's a transvestite! Well, being the way he his, Archie now tries to downplay and hide his 'lip lock' with a man. Hilarious. I recently saw the episode where Beverly is killed and Edith gets all mad at God and won't go to church. Now, that had to be her ultimate dingbat moment. She made me mad in that episode. The Threat is the first episode on this tape and it is also hilarous. The wife of Archie's Air Force buddy comes by to spend the night. Archie can't keep his eyes off of Bobbi Jo Loomis and it all climaxes when Edith asks Bobbi Jo to leave her house! The last episode is titled Archie Goes Too Far. Archie snoops around in Gloria and Mike's room and finds a personal love poem. Then he reads it aloud! It's so funny. As a result, Gloria and Edith leave the house and say they're not coming back until Archie says he's sorry. Mike storms off somewhere like he often does. All three episodes are great and I definitely recommend buying it.
