I agree with another poster on the price. I bought mine for $72 at brick and mortar store on sale.

The rectangle construction looks much better than the typical fish tank. Mine sits on a file box in my cubicle at work. I upgraded from a 5 gallon Marineland hex and while taller, it actually takes up less space because the flat top becomes a shelf.

15 gallons in a small footprint is IMHO an awesome size. At one inch fish per gallon, you have room for several tropical fish and algae eaters to keep the tank clean. The water chemistry doesn't change as quickly and unlike the above, things don't go bad before you can correct the problem. My three glow tetras, four neons, guppy, four inch pleco and albino algae eater are quite happy as it came out of the box with the included filter and a 50 watt Tetra 26447 Submersible Aquarium Heater and no bubbler. All good every time I check with a test strip.

It's not dead quite, but definitely much quieter than our 55 gallon home tank with Marineland 350 filter. Sitting three feet away from my head, the hum becomes white noise and my neighbor on the other side of the fabric-covered partition doesn't hear it.

My single mountain furniture looks a little short for this tall tank. Tall fish furniture is not stocked at the local pet shop so I added a bubbler that "fills" the void above for a very nice look.

Necessary regular water changes and cleaning is a snap. Once or twice a week I lean the lid on the back of the tank against the wall, remove one gallon with a wide mouth plastic pretzel container being careful not to pull in a curious fish and pour in fresh water that sat a couple days under my desk in a one-gallon plastic jug.

Good basic tank that is built well and has a nice design. I am keeping mine as a barebottom dwarf puffer tank with lots of manzanita wood branches and low-light plants. I painted the outside back of the tank a burgundy red and the outside bottom light brown. The effect is stunning. There is room in the light hood to add additional lighting and it has a reflective clear plastic cover which is nice. It helps to scatter the light over the tank and keeps the electrical components free of moisture. I ditched the stock filtration and replaced with a Fluval C3. I knocked one star off for the included filtration, but otherwise I recommend this tank if you want something a bit different and are willing to make a few upgrades.

I found the filter that came with the total setup was woefully underpowered for the tank, and the cartridges were cheap and ineffective with a minimum of carbon. I went out and purchased an AquaClear 30 and am very happy with their substrates and carbon bag.

I also was surprised the setup had no heater which I also had to buy. People have complimented me on the tank and top, but I am not recommending the total "set up" because it is just not adequate.
