Jeannette Angell is an award-winning author and playwright whose work has been published in 15 countries and translated into 12 languages.
She lives and works in an old sea captain's house in North Truro village, at the tip of Cape Cod.
"The outer cape is magical," she says. "I love to travel, but this is home. I can start my days in the woods or on the beach, I live surrounded by whales, seals, seabirds, and dolphins ... and with the literary legacy of those who lived here before me: Tennessee Williams, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Eugene O'Neill, John Dos Passos, Neith Boyce ... sometimes if I'm very quiet, I can hear their voices whispering in the dusk."
