This single from Within Temptation's fourth studio album, The Heart of Everthing, is an amazingly emotional power ballad that draws listeners in and refuses to let them go. Something about the intensity of the lyrics, the message in the music many people can relate to make "All I Need" one of the most intense WT songs from The Heart of Everything.

There are a few different versions of this single out there, including an exclusive maxi-pack. The version I got through the Amazon marketplace is the basic one: it includes the single version and a live version of "All I Need." The 5-track digi-pack version of the single includes "demo version" of "Frozen," "Our Solemn Hour" and B-side "This is the Last Time." An American-target iTunes release of the single featured a "demo version" of "Hand of Sorrow" and a live acoustic recording of famous Mother Earth song "Ice Queen."

While virtually all of these songs are available on other releases, this is the not an essential. Frankly, I'd skip the single and just go for The Heart of Everything Album. But still, intense, emotional and unforgettable.

I have not heard anything by this band that I am not happy with! I love the music, I love the intensity! Excellent listening.

Love the band, love the album. A must have for every fan of rock music and within temptation.
